Hey everyone… Mike Freeman would like you to know that…

“WOW! Summer is almost here and so is another tri season…Mark your calendars for July 1…pre-race meeting is at 9:00…race start at 9:15…post race BBQ and Beers (BYOB and BYOF) to follow at 11 Royal St. on the Bluff…

As in year’s past we will be hosting a family friendly, fun triathlon (no timing, no prizes, no entry fee) for all levels to enjoy…This event consists of a beach 1000 metre swim/walk (depending on the tides!), a 36 km (draft legal) bike and a short and sweet 7.5 km run.  The race is staged (starts and finishes) from the Provincial Park (big grassy field really) that can be accessed off of Belliveau Beach Road (directly across the street from Ocean Surf/Horizon trailer parks).  This is meant to be a fun event that is a great place to be introduced to the sport of triathlon, so don’t be shy about coming!
Please try an let me know if you can make it and further details will follow…
Thanks, Mike
PS.  We will set up a duathlon course if you are really worried about the swim…
PPS. Pass this on to anyone you think may be interested as I likely missed people…
