The MBS Cup continues in June with a series of three Time Trials…

The route follows the Veterans Memorial Hwy, exit onto the Trans Canada Highway then exit onto Champlain St and turn right onto Aviation Ave with the finish at the parking area.”
Race start is at 6:30pm, one rider will start every 30 seconds or 1 minute usually depending on attendence.
Due to having a large number of people getting ready for the Subaru of Moncton Duathlon we will be doing a duathlon training this Sunday (May 23rd) morning. This will take place at the Dieppe Rotary park starting at 9:00 AM sharp and here is what we will do. - Run 4.4km (2 laps of the Rotary park)
- Bike 10km (5km up Melanson rd and back)
- Run 2.2km (1 lap of the Rotary park)
This will not be timed it’s to get a feel from running to the bike back to running (it’s scary the first time),improve transition times and just have fun (you can draft on the bike if you wish).
Please let me know if your interested so I can get enough bike racking ready.
Thanks

This just in recently from Luc Arsenault at the Atlantic Cycling Center in Dieppe…
this ride is always a fun one, if not a bit of a challenge too..
“We are very happy to give you the information for the Atlantic Cycling Centre’s spring camp (or Easter Camp). Some changes to note this year as we will focus this camp on the newly created Peter Wedge Racer Program. We currently have a good number of registered young riders (from the minime - U15 - and cadet - U17 - categories) and we feel it is very important for us to focus on such group for the future of cycling in our region. Due to a lower age group target, we also decided to make the camp a 2-day camp (compared to 4 in the past).
Elite riders from the Centre are also welcome to join the camp at any time.
The famous Fundy National Park ride will still be part of the camp. This year, it will take place on Saturday, April 3rd. It’s a great ride to be part of and is fully supported with motor vehicles and motorbikes. Everyone is invited to take part in such ride for a limited fee.
Everyone, Peter Wedge RACERS included, is invited to register before March 26th. You may do so by following this link: Peter Wedge Racers and Fundy Ride.”
Yesterday was a gorgeous day for 63 riders to do the Cyclebetes 200 ride. Organized by Mike LeBlanc and sponsored by Mike’s Bike Shop, the Pumphouse and many volunteers, this 200km supported ride for Juvenile Diabetes raised $9000 yesterday. Congratulations to everyone that participated, organized, donated and volunteered for a worthy cause.
There will be a ladies road ride leaving from Fitworks at 9am Saturday August 8th. We’ll go for between 70-90km depending on who shows up and how far we’d all like to go. Hope to see you then!
Also, there may be another road ride Sunday morning - stay tuned for more details!
